The property is located in Calle del Pistor at number 1553/A Sestiere di Castello, Venice (VE).The building faces its south elevation, the main one, directly onto Calle del Pistor, towards the Marinaressa Garden. The east elevation also faces Calle del Pistor, while the north elevation is framed within a private courtyard.
The intervention concerns a building renovation of a building unit for residential use that is three storeys above ground. The final layout of the building envisages the fractioning into three separate residential units and the consequent adaptation of the rooms to the needs of contemporary living, without however modifying the typological and original configuration.

The design choices are respectful of the building’s characteristics. Traditional materials, equal or technically equivalent to the pre- existing ones, are foreseen. All the internal and external finishes will be the same as the existing ones (e.g. finish of the roof with Venetian tile; materials and colouring of the external window and door frames and shutters; colouring of the plaster; etc).
