The Grand Hotel Savoia and the adjacent Savoia Palace boast a history and a reputation spanning more than a century as a luxury hotel for winter vacations and beyond. Currently the hotel, a five-star category, is part of Radisson Collection and features two restaurants, a bar, panoramic terraces, a SPA with wellness center as well as rooms and suites with views of the Dolomites.
The prestige of this historic hotel located in the center of Cortina necessitated upgrades to adapt the structure to the needs of the guests, while continuing to provide a high level of service. Specifically, the commission requested the drafting of a plan of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance works to improve the quality of the services offered and the hotel spaces.

The planned interventions include the renovation of the terraces of the rooms and the bar, with new flooring and custom-made outdoor furniture, a new lighting design for the outdoor spaces, a new in-house restaurant, overhaul of the lighting and sound system on the ground floor, creation of exclusive suites through reconfiguration of floors, and setting up of ski room for guests’ ski equipment.
In addition to this, specific interventions are planned to overhaul mechanical and special systems to improve comfort and experience inside the facility, interventions to integrate heating cables and optimize the electrical system.
