AI Progetti, with the Ancona-based companies ALL Ingegneria srl (Project Manager) and Termostudi srl, and with GeoTec of Jesi, was responsible for the preliminary design of the new Palasport in Montegranaro (FM).
Designed to complete an area destined for sports facilities, the project envisages the demolition of the existing structures, which are in a state of abandonment, and the reconstruction of a new two-storey high building characterised by a compact layout and integrated into the existing green system, with which it is connected thanks to the newly planned outdoor spaces.
The building’s envelope emphasises its volumetric characteristics and consists of panelling with different shades and opacity, derived from the community colours, while a band of profiled glass allows natural lighting of the interior spaces.
